Mascarade is in the Jungle of Mode

Okay so I may have fibbed when I said that I was going to make a post later when I had more make- up out.  I just am so excited about my new store that I wanted to share at least a couple images of my new make up.  Here is the make up called Butterfly Effect.  It has the Butterfly wing on both sides of the face.  The make-up comes with 2 tattoo layers, one has the lipstick with the eye make-up and the other does not have the lipstick.  For now it only comes in one color but I will be creating more colors as it seems that this is a favorite among many.

All the make-up is set at a low price and every fatpack is set at a discounted price.  I always look for discounts on fatpacks, so I knew my clients would appreciate it as well lol.  All of the make-up I feel can be worn at any time, it be worn with casual, avant-garde, elegant or any other styling you wish to create.  I feel all of the sets will make you look fantabulous, but of course I am a bit biased lol. Lost Beyond the Jungle but Found a new light when I walked back in

I want to apologize once again.  I know this has been like the millionth time but R.L does have to come first and so my S.L duties were put on hold for awhile.  I had to step away from S.L for awhile but now I am back.  Do not worry though I do have some news so this won't just be a " I am back and nothing else post".  We all know that in S.L things happen very quickly wether its a new relationships, friends, new stores and pretty much everything else under the S.L sun.  Well I know I had posted that I was working for  a non-profit organization called Spirit of Canada and there I was responsible for the High Spirits Modeling Agency.  I was very  excited about working there because not only would I be responsible for organizing shows but doing it was a great cause.  Well, I decided I could no longer work there.  I had to leave because I was giving it all I got but, it just was not working out and in the end it was making me sick.  I knwo that not everything is easy and that you have to work hard to get them going, but this was beyond that and it was getting unhealthy.  There are other reasons I have that helped me make this decision and let us just say that with what happened after I left, I am so glad I did and at the time that I did.  Although I do have to say I was sad because I believed in the project so much but I knew I had to let it go when my health was coming into effect and I saw little warning signs that told me... "you have to go now or you will be doomed later".  I ignored them before but I am def glad I finally listened, and just in time too.  Although it was a bit of a sad time, I have to say that this story ends pretty well.  I now have a store open.  I have not been able to do a lot of pieces but now that I am back I will continue to put out some more pieces.  I know your wondering what is tis store and what does she sell.  Well I started my own make-up line.  I have to say that I do love and enjoy it.  I only have a few things up but when I put out more I will post pictures of the make up.    The store is called Mascarade.  Below I will post a LM to the store if you wish to check it out.  I will always listen to my customers because honestly without them, I would not continue to create my make up.  I do custom orders and they will be priced the same as all the other make ups as long as you let me sell the make up in the store.  If you see something in the store that you like but you want a something added to it or taken out, I will more then happily do that for you as well. I seem to be getting delusional

One of my great friends, Catlyn Sahara, has started her own store.  The store is called What's your Secret.  For now she has been making super cute lingerie.  There are numerous colors of each set, so that you have a wide range of choices.  I think they look really cute and have so many colors that you can go with anything.  Here is one of the sets you can purchase.  Here is a poster of the set called delusional dreams and I am wearing it in teal.

Hello Lovelies,

  I am very sorry that I have not posted anything in a very long time.  Unfortunately, my internet has been acting hinky and so I was not able to log on.  For now it seems to work when it wants, I hope that it will continue to work so that I can post some more fabulous outfits.  Here is a little bit of an update as to what has been occurring.  Well it seems that all that talk from my husband was true.  My husband always said that you work so hard and you are never paid enough and they don't seem to appreciate you.  Why don't you work for a non-profit organization?  I have always wanted to work for a non-profit but it seems that I had no idea how to go about it.  Well it seems after my husband spoke those words, a week later I saw an opportunity to join a non-profit in SL.  This non-profit is both in RL and now in SL.  It is in its beginning stages but I am very happy to be a part of it.  The work at time feels endless but so is the suffering of others.  The best part is I get to do two things that I love best.  I get to strike a pose for a cause.  Yes you read that right.  I have joined Spirit of Canada and we now have a modeling agency which will raise funds for the 3 foundations we support: Heart and Stroke Foundation, Breast Cancer Foundation and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Each month Spirits of Canada raises funds for one of these great foundations.  It has been very exciting to work here. I love that I can walk the runway for a cause.   We have so many ways to raise funds for these foundation. The Spirit of Canada sim has many designer stores like Purplemoon, Bliss, M.E.B, VoGue and many more.  The stores are asked that 50% of all purchases be donated to the foundation we are raising funds for that month.  We also hold live performances and parties to raise awareness and proceeds.  100% of all proceeds that we receive go to the foundations.  We do not keep a cent.  We are a federal non-profit so you do not have to worry about where your money is going.  If you have any questions or concerns, just contact one of the team members and we will help you to the best of our ability.  We will even give you information to contact the foundations so that you can feel confident that you are supporting a honest organization.
I am so proud to be a part of this company and watch it grow from the beginning. I know it will be hard  and will take awhile before we get the company to where we want it, but it will be all worth it in the end.

The colors of the Jungle are all around me

So I decided to make a picture for my heading on my blog, I have had the idea in my mind for a long time but I just never had the time to do it.  I finally was able to sit down and take the time to do it yesterday.  When I finished and was proud and pleased with my picture I closed the computer with a satisfied sigh.  Well this morning, more like this dawn lol, I decided to share the outfit I used for the image because I just love it so much.  I honestly do not want to take it off because I feel that it represents some of my personalities.  The outfit is casual but chic.  I honestly love everything  about it.  You can not go wrong with this simple but lovely mix and match.

I got bit by a snake

I want to apologize for not making a post sooner, I have been very sick in RL and have had some hardships in SL.  My path in the jungle of mode has made a detour I did not expect.  I know there are things I can not control, I just hope that on this new path there will be better and more exciting things.  I still don't have any fabulous pictures with amazing finds for you today but today I just want to say I am sorry for my delays on keeping you up to date in this jungle I find myself in.  I do have to say that it does take you on paths I did not expect to be on.  I have come to learn this  the easy way and as well as the hard way.  On this journey I have met very beautiful  people on both the inside and out, but unfortunately there are some where the beauty is only on the outside.  No matter what obstacles, wether good or bad, easy or difficult,  we have to keep walking forward,(or running lol) as long as we do it because it makes us happy and we feel it is the right thing to do.  I hope that who ever reads this and they are struggling  or feel wronged, that they do not give up. There is so much more good then bad in RL and SL.  Some times it may not seem that way but we have to remember that it is only the bad that gives us a wake up call to the harsh realities.  As long as we continue forward in our journey, we will make it.  It will not be easy of course, but then if we expect it to be then we are fooling ourselves.  We have to keep our mind and body straight for our goals.  I know at times there will be that beautiful flower ( whatever it is for you) that will distract you or end up trying to hurt you from reaching your goals, just know that you just have to keep going.  We are human and we all make mistakes.  It is what we do with those mistakes that makes us who we are.

I hope I did not sound to preachy lol but I just have had some wake-up calls on my journey and I felt that I needed to share, because at some point we forget and need a wake up call.  We need that reminder from time to time wether from a friend, stranger, and or experience.

If you take anything away from this, is to stay confident in yourself, we all make mistakes, we all get a slap in the face (wether literally or figuratively) from time to time, but that is part of life.  Just don't make it hurt you that you feel you can't keep going because you can, each one of us has the strength to continue to what makes us happy. No one can take that away from you, unless you let them.  Don't be afraid to let out a roar from time to time.  Show them the lion inside you  that can conquer this jungle.
